Autopsy/Cadaver Lab
Students were able to use an Anatomage table, which is a 3D virtual anatomy table that serves as a virtual dissection tool that allows students to learn what a human’s body looks like. Students then visited the University of Lynchburg cadaver lab and learned more about the human anatomy from the donor’s body.

Skeleton
Students were able to visually see a human’s skeleton and explore their bones. Students described it as an eye-opening experience to learn from a real skeleton.

Old City Cemetery
At Lynchburg's Old City Cemetery, students learned about Civil War medicinal practices by visiting the cemetery's pest house. Students toured the rest of the cemetery, visiting goats and scenic areas around the cemetery.

University of Virginia Pathology & Hematology Lab
Students visited the University of Virginia's pathology lab and got to learn about diseases in the lungs and hearts. Students then toured the UVA Hematology Department building and got to learn about research opportunities for undergraduates through a Q&A session with graduate school students there.
